Interior Design Diploma London
Civil Engeeniering without foundation course?

Hello Guys. I have been studying 2 years bachelor degree of UWIC at London School of Commerce since 2009 april ( going to finish in december 2011) and recently started my course in interior design at JJAADA Academy for Diploma duration 1 year.

I realised that I want to study Civil Engineering with Architecture at City University, but the problem is that I didnt have any IELTs test and Foundation course for Engineering, because I started that college by passing their english test and it might be quite different from IELTS.

Now, my question is that. IS THERE ANY CHANCES THAT I CAN STUDY CIVIL ENGINEERING WITH ARCHITECTURE WITHOUT ANY IELTS AND FOUNDATION COURSE?

In the interior design course there are scale and technical drawings, Autocad and Photoshop, room, furniture, bathroom and kitchen design. and I studied Foundation course for Business studies and Computing where the maths is involved. and I’m an INTERNATIONAL STUDENT.

That would be analogous to building a nice home on a foundation of sand. Or similar to taking a Calculus course without the basic understanding of algebra or trigonometry.
Without the solid footing, it would be difficult to be successful. At a very minmum, you should take the basic Physics and Calculus classes that are the basis for the core engineering classes. The core Engineering classes are basically advanced physics and advanced math. You really need the basic core classes such as Physics and Calculus to build on.

Study Interior Design Uk
Can anyone tell me if you need to study maths at A level to become an interior designer in the UK?

I would really like to become an Interior designer but someone told me you need to do an A level in maths is this true? Also what are the top universities to study Interior design? Would it be be better to work as an interior designer in the UK or in Spain?
Sorry for all these questions! xx

You don’t HAVE to study maths, but it’s probably quite useful, in working out geometric distributions, ratios, proportions etc: all useful things for interior design.

Try researching on UCAS for good universities for interior design: not that many offer it.

UK is, academically speaking, far superior to Spain.
