Interior Design Practices In London
Anyone knows a search web of Architect/Freelance Architectural Designer in London for Restaurants/Retails?
Hi, I just wonder if anyone could help me?
We are thinking of opening up a new restaurant in London. I found a vacant retail plot with A1 (A3 subject to planning) premises. It will be a small budget fit-out / interior design, but we would like to work with a good local Architect or Freelancing Architectural Designer since we have been told that we would need to get a planning permission to upgrade the premises to A3 and some advises from Designers…… But my Google searches end up being on RIBA Architect practice directory, not individuals, possibly freelancing designers more experienced in Restaurants/Retails….
I would be hugely grateful if anyone could let me know of any tips?
Dear SKA TIME,
I just saw your question and I might be able to help you with your project.
I am actually a Freelance Architectural Designer based in Hackney/London, currently dealing with a new Japanese Restaurant design in London (Westminster borough), my expertise is in one-off residential refurbishment/extension projects as well as Shops/Restaurants. Unfortunately I am not a RIBA/ARB registered Architect in UK, I have been privately freelancing for individual clients since I can spend more time and develop closer design relationships. If you need that however, I from time to time collaborate with a friend of mine who is a RIBA chartered company director.
I am originally from Japan, (Londoner for the past 10 years)
please take a look at my web site link below:

Otherwise, my advise would be uk.linkedin.com/ or several local Architects/Builders search website.
Where are you based in London? and plot for your restaurant?
Please feel free to contact me for any helps.
Thanks,
Haru
