Should I stay local at my nearby public college or go to a different school?

Would it be better to stay at my local 4-year college and commute or go to a different school and transfer? To live away from home, I could move in with my bro in a few months after I have my money saved up and the school has lower tuition rates. I am a sophomore. I would like to do something in the creative field but my local 4-year school doesn’t really offer anything but studio art and historic preservation which employers prefer a master’s degree for employment or an extremely good portfolio. There are other schools that offer a 4-year graphic design degree/interior design, but they are away from home and tuition would be a whole lot more a year if I stayed on campus. Also, their general education requirements are different. Should I just stay at the local school a find a major there that would suit me best or transfer to another yet more expensive school.

Go to whichever school is going to allow you to pursue a degree path (major) that will allow you to find a job once you graduate.
