Architecture, interior design or? Two?
I know that architecture is the creation of the exterior structure of a building (outside), and interior design is the decoration of a building (inside) .. but is there any industry that combines the two at the same time .. Studying abroad and design indoors ..? IF there is what is his name ..? What college ..?
You're lucky because there is a middle path to your dilemma called "Architecture Interior. Its fairly new and not available in most universities (I think it began offering these courses in early 1980). This combines the study of architecture and interior design. It's main purpose is to allow the reconstruction of existing buildings to allow for different functions. For example, conversion a hospital in a school or office apartments and so on. However, you will learn to design a building from scratch and deal with the details of interior spaces, including all its aspects. By studying Interior Architecture courses to learn architecture, such as construction methods, building materials, structures, history of architecture, professional practice, environmental control systems, etc … and interior design courses such as furniture and style lighting design theories … etc. These, of course, is combined with CAD courses and technical presentation and several others who do not remember at this time. It is worth taking a look at the individual courses in each program to find and maybe even talk to a faculty member. An important thing to consider is what to do once graduates. Ask about accreditation and if the program is approved by the AFP (if you're in the States) or RIBA (if you're in the UK) or indeed any architectural body that accredits and approval requires practice. The same applies to the bodies of interior design. I do not know which country you want to study, but just to give you an idea, there is a course at the University of Ohio http://www.ohiou.edu/design/main.html
