I need interior design advice please?
My husband is a civil engineer. that plans and develops the structural designs. in a few one year or two, we plan to build a home, the problem is that we have some experience about interior designs. We searched in magazines but can not seem to find what we like. There is a website for this interior design for homes? TNX!
I worked as a commercial interior designer and it sounds as if you are really asking for "flat" – the actual design of the interior of a house opposite to the decor. If you search for "flat" in line you will find many options. Many search sites based on criteria that say (as in 2-story home in front of the ranch) Also all improvement stores home have books that are full of ideas plant. You can also go to the library and will have books that are filled with plant ideas. Another good source is home builders in your area. Many have showrooms that are flying with their standard designs. You can not "steal" their designs. Designs are copyrighted and may be sued, but you can get ideas. You just tell them you are thinking of building a house and loaded with information – Especially in today's economy. You may end up getting some sales calls them, but they can only be said to have ended up having to postpone their project for a year or so, and do not hear anything from them. As we look at all levels to make copies or release notes page and point to itself about what called the eye, ie: "I like the great hall of the home of the kitchen" or "really like this design a bathroom, but we would need 2 closets." Then, when it comes to actually designing your home you will have better ideas to be able to give your builder. With the field that her husband is on I'm sure know some architects. Many of them moonlight and designing houses for people in their spare time. This would be a good resource to use when in fact they are prepared to the design of the house. That person can easily take all the ideas you have collected and develop a plan for you. Magazines will be good for the appearance of the decorative design interior.
