French Interior Design Homes
need help with an interior design project?
i badly need help on this one..im a student currently taking up interior design..i know i should’nt be asking for help on this one but im really running out of ideas..
im used to working on homes and offices but for a shop i dont know anything..we are asked to design a boutique that sells women’s clothing, shoes, accesories, bags, perfumes etc..first question is what kind of theme should i use?i wanted a contemporary chic or a contemporary french or greek style but i lack knowledge of what kind of styles or colours are used for those themes..second question is could you suggest a good website where i could see examples of designs of boutiques?
you’re free to suggest your ideas..
thanks in advance..
Go to the Mall and look inside their stores to see how everything is set up. Where they put their clothing, shoes, and accessories etc. Get creative with it! Once you get an idea you’ll find your theme. We can’t give you a theme. Also you can look up greek , french styles.

Room Interior Design Furniture
Can you give me a nice set up for my new bedroom which includes paint color, interior design, etc.?
My room is being renovated right now. I want to furnish it with a nice design on what color i am going to use, the settings of the furniture and fixture on where it best located. Please help me. I need your advices. Thanks…
There are so many styles of furniture and an infinite amount of interior designs for a bedroom. Without knowledge of your taste it is impossible to randomly select what suits you.
May I suggest you go to a bookstore and plop yourself down in the Home Decorating magazine section. Look through magazines to find your style, likes and dislikes. This simple step will set you in the decorating direction that is right for you. Decorating a room is a process and is not done in just a day or a week.
It sounds like you are starting with a clean slate. Begin by first making a floor plan of your space, including windows and doors. This will aid in furniture placement. Usually the bed is placed on the wall furthest from the door. Then, the dressers/chests of drawers are placed on walls to suit their scale in proportion and balance to the rest of the room. This can all be done by making a scaled drawing of the room and furniture cut outs to see how things fit within the space.
Color is a matter of personal choice. It is usually best if there is inspiration behind a color choice. A painting or object of artwork, fabric, an area rug, bedding or another cherished item can be your inspiration for color. It is best to select the bedding, then match the paint. Painting your room first, then trying to match bedding to a random paint color is often problematic.
Room size has a lot to do with design. Is there place for a seating area? A bench at the end of the bed? Will most of your clothing be in a walk-in closet so you need less furniture to make way for a seating area, perhaps? There are so many variables as to what the design possibilities can lead to.
So, I suggest you look at Home Decorating magazines, walk through furniture show rooms and check bedroom designs on the internet to set your compos to lead you in the direction you most feel comfortable with.
