Painting and designing my room?
I have many talents, non of which extend to interior design. My room is currently painted sunshine yellow, which isn’t as hideous as it sounds, but I’m ready for a change.
Those who are decor savy want to lend a helping hand?
For reference:
I hate country designs.
i like abstract designs.
i’m not particularly fond of the color blue, so don’t suggest it.
If the color suggested is light, will it easily cover the current yellow?

Unfortunatly, I’ve never been a person to chose a favorite color. Other than hating blue, I have no preference.
Anything involving poka dots, splattering, or graffeti is way out. Sorry, doll.
oh, and for future answers, whats the paint brand? im not concerned about cost.
Walls—-Ralph Lauren “cameroon green” (a cool grey color with a sage green undertone)
Trim—-Ralph Lauren “galvinized” ( a very dark espresso brown)
Accent color—–Ralph Lauren “village” (a deep,bold burnt brick red)
Accessorize with stainless steel hardware,dark brown leather,bold abstract artwork.
This color palette will give you a crisp,cool, almost scandanavian feel.but warmed up a bit with the dark red and leather.
No blue or “country” in sight…….
