Interior Design Help! Mirrored furniture and Monochramtic colors. Area rug suggestions?

I have a bed room that has this furniture in it:

I have the jewelry armoire, the nightstands, and the vanity.

I have Stonington grey walls by benjamin moore. I have white bedding and Serena lamps:

Any suggestions on adding color in this room or how to pick an area rug? Do you like what I have picked out? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Keep the rug a white and add color through painted picture frames and art.I love the bed too.

In a world so dominated by color, it’s nice to see the absence of color.It is refreshingly relaxing.
For colorful frames check out places like Marshalls or TJ Maxx .

smart to pursue a different career when I am passionate about interior design?

So I have always loved designing spaces, working with colors, patterns and textures, etc. I get excited when I see something I love and when I see something I can change to make it better.

Anyways i have heard over and over the bad success rates of students these days graduating with this degree and they end up working at furniture or fabric stores instead.

I decided to go into Occupational Therapy and work with kids because I love the psychology aspect and creativity I can apply, but it is just not the same passion and love I get for decorating. Should I go with the stable job that I would be satisfied with or the very unstable job that I could love doing?

You can make a good salary working part time in occupational therapy. I would use the stable job to support your passion.

Am doing B.com. and during my break i want to do Fashion designing , interior designing, or business course?

Am doing B.com. and during my break i want to do Fashion designing course or interior designing cousre or business cousre either of them from USA good university for 6 months only. as after that i will pursue my Final year.

Could you suggest me some good university where i can approach

-F.I.T ( Fashion Institute of Technology) in NYC (www. fit.edu)
- SCAD ( Savannah College of Art & Design)
in Savannah , GA ( on the coast) ( www.scad.edu)

Both have good programs and are good with resources for non usa residents. Go to websites and see what programs they offer during your time available and they both have good Fashion and Interior Programs/Courses
