Interior Design Drawing Program
Which major requires more ART SKILLS? HELP!?
Advertising design, interior design, industrial and product design, visual communication design
I am a senior student who is going to graduate this year and am accepted by a few tops art schools in the US such as School of the Art Institute of Chicago. However my financial situation does not allow me to study abroad. My only option is to stay in my country and apply to this polytech university which offers the design programs above. I have good artistic skills in painting and drawing so unfortunately the majors above don’t allow me to show my talents.
Which major do you think is best for me and requires more of drawing and painting?
Which one requires less “computer and graphic” kind of stuff?
My math and physics are pretty poor so I don’t know if I can take interior design.
I am deeply in need of help. THX
I would think Advertising design or visual communication design would be your best bets. Industrial design – no, that’s more drafting and much less freehand drawing. In advertising, I would expect that you would hand draw your original concepts and only later after a concept in approved it would be turned into a computer/video product. Is there a counselor at the college you could ask about this? Or try contacting the heads of each of those departments at the college and asking more about the program. Good luck.

Interior Design Rendering
architectural renderings (3d illustrations) or game animation+ art?
Which one of these two is the better, higher paid, or growing career/industry?
Also, if i want to go into architectural renderings/modeling/animations can i good to college and major in animation and minor in interior design so that if i want to go into game/film animation i can have more options?
Or should i just find a school that specializes in architectural renderings.
By the way, i’m not planning on majoring in architecture(the non-rendering type).
Growing career/industry will always be better.
