Fashion Classes for High Schoolers?

I am a freshman in high school, and I want to get into fashion design, modern architectural design and interior design….but i want to Start no. Does anyone know where I can take some classes to start to learn how to sketch properly and sew what i want to sew and stuff? oh and possible start to make up a portfolio? oh and it has to be in the chicago suburbs!!

Try your local community college. Most of the time the classes are transferable to 4-year colleges and they do allow high school students as long as proper paperwork is completed.

Keep sketchbooks of what you do. Just save all of your designs. From there, you’ll be able to choose your best items to make your portfolio.
