Interior Design Database
I need to know what type of database or software I would need to use if I were to open up my own little?
textiles business selling my own made designs in accessories or for interior etc??
If I had a number of contacts such as; clients, stockists, suppliers etc I would obviously need to use a database to retain all this information to carry out the day to day business.
Any advice please
..all i know of is sage line 50 and NolaPro but not sure.
Cheers xxx
If you just want to maintain a database of contacts i.e. suppliers and customers, you can even set one up in Microsoft Excel. It allows very basic but also very powerful database features. If you have Microsoft Excel version 2007 or 2010 you can set up a very, very large database that will last you for years and years.
Alternatively you could use Microsoft Access which is a full and proper database, but its a bit difficult to learn.
Finally you could use Sage Line 50. If you don’t have a lot of money to spend on it, just buy Sage Instant Accounts for approx £120 or so and that has a full customer and supplier database built into it and you could also run your accounts from it.
