Ok. I need some help, I want a website with features similar to this: http://www.bellaluxe.net and http://www.design-i-interiors.com, however I am a beginner as in (never designed a website before). But I love this type of website and I need to know what software was used or could be used. I like the crisp photos, the animation, and the page transitions as well. Please help.

Interior Design Game?

I like to play the Sims just to build the houses and design the rooms. I would like to find a different game though becasue its getting old. I would rather just decorate and build houses/design rooms then to have to deal with the people like on Sims. Thanks!

Hi Laura, this is a great idea. I have often recommended the Sims for interior design. I understand that over time using the same items definitely becomes boring. If you have the Sims 2 or lower, try getting the Sims 3 because it includes many more decorations to keep you interested.

Unfortunately, there aren’t many successful interior design games. One thing I can tell you about is Polyvore. On this website you can use real items with real prices and create rooms for free. It can get pretty interesting because you can really buy those items and really make that room if you wanted! It has a wide variety that you can choose from. Also, you can practice with price ranges so that when you deal with those situations later, it won’t be difficult for you.

Another idea is if you really enjoy interior design so much that you decide to become one, look at this software: http://www.microspot.com/products/interiorsPro/index.htm

I agree this is very expensive, but it is what some interior designers like to use.

Also remember that on the Sims you can pause time so that the Sims will not bother you.
