what classes are required for an architect major?

I’m a junior in high school attending utah valley university getting my associates degree by the time i graduate as a senior. hopefully. I guess what I’m really wondering is what classes should I be taking? My school, UCAS, mainly focuses on science and math, so I don’t have much help from my counselors. I am not planning on staying at uvu, so just let me know the basics that architects need to take. Also, what are some good architecture schools, and internships I should look into? I definitely want to go into architecture as well as landscaping and interior design. please help me. Any information is really appreciated! God bless! 8]

In high school, take a drawing class, even a painting class. In college you will take the classes the school of architecture tells you to. To be a certified landscape architect–that is an additional 3 year program. Same for interior designing. You need to attend a college with an architecture program.

Interior Designers: Can you critique my project?

I am designing a condominium for two young 20 year old women who are “stylish/sleek” and like to entertain. This is for a scholarship projects.
I would love if you could look at my project and critique it. The link is: bleueinteriors.blogspot.com

very nice. sleek. the only issue i have with it is the fact that there are two showers in the master bath. the tub with the shower curtain should just be an open bath. maybe something like this:

what do you think? such a sleek design would be better served without a curtain, and would open it up three more feet or so. i like the gray, it wouldn’t work with anything but. and the bed in front of the window is not a problem. what program did you use for this? very impressive.

Looking for free interior design programs, that I can download under I.E. 1998

This might not be as sophisticated as what you’re looking for, but playing around with Sims is always fun to think about what wall colors and furniature you might want in a real house some day. You can play without actually using the characters and without having to earn money. Just click directly on property without moving any one in and you can build a house with unlimited funds and just play around with it. Good luck finding what you’re looking for.
