Interior Design For Home Office
good job???????????????????

Hi. i want a job where i can be at home sometimes, and work in a home office, but also go to work. and no, i dont care for all of those online paying jobs. something where i can go to college, and maybe 2-4 years after that and get a job with something. im looking for a job that has an pay of $100,000 and up. i was thinking, interior design, architecture, buyer, photographer, author. please list some jobs.

Interior design would be perfect. One of my neighbors “stages” houses for sale. She goes in and gives ideas, rents furniture to fill empty spaces, rearranges stuff, and de-clutters. Why don’t you “stage” houses for local realty agents..

Interior Designer Jobs New York
What colleges offer interior designing programs?

I’ve always wanted to go to Santa Cruz College. Never had any particular reasons, just the sound of it made me jumpy. All of a sudden, my dad just moved to Santa Cruz for a job offer. I’m sure that’s fate. The college I’ve been talking about going to for years is just twenty minutes away from my dad’s new home. I’ve decided that I want to become an Interior Designer, and I’m really hoping that Santa Cruz College offers those courses. If not, which colleges do offer good classes for the subject area. I’m also taking prep courses for interior designing at my high school right now. If Santa Cruz, or really anywhere near, isn’t available, I’m also looking into New York University. I’d either like to go to a college located in the beach, or the city. Thanks so much! (:

UC Santa Cruz doesn’t offer an interior design program. Here’s a list of the undergraduate majors you can choose from at this college: http://admissions.ucsc.edu/discover/majors/

I also looked at Cabrillo College, but didn’t see interior design offered there either.

You may want to use the Peterson’s site (advanced search) to explore your college options.

The Occupational Outlook Handbook also includes some good information about interior design as a career. If you read through to the bottom, you will find links to accredited programs and other professional association sites.
