Interior Design Drawing Books
i need help with college!?

i am interested in photography and design
design as in interior designing, graphic designing, and fashion designing
and photography as in taking photos and MAYBE publishing a book on it i DONT wanna be a paparazzi or anything
and i hope to later on after i have my career to study the history of art, i cant draw lol but i like art
SO WHAT SHOULD I DO…
PHOTOGRAPHY
AND DESIGN I LIKE
should i just do graphic designing and what does graphic designers do?

Hm, well.. how far along are you in high school? If possible, try to take a basic art class so that you can build up a portfolio. If you want to go to college specifically for art, you need a sophisticated portfolio with 15+ pieces of your best work. It helps to know how to draw..

BUT if you’re well along in your high school career and don’t really have much time to work on your art skills, you might want to look into a liberal arts college- then you can take art classes along with other classes (sciences, language, humanities, etc.). That way you have a fall-back, but if you still really like art you can pursue it either at your college or you can transfer.

Some great art/design schools:

Parsons, RISD, Savannah

What’s a great, inexpensive hobby to keep me occupied?

I enjoy arts and crafts, painting, design, interior decorating, projects etc.
Also photo editing…and trying new things.

Any ideas? Filling the void and trying to get over a breakup…..

I operate HO trains. If you’re not sure, don’t invest a lot of money. Buy a couple model railroad magazines and go from there. A basic set goes for about $100. It requires thought, research and hands on work. You can also check local museums, some of them have dioramas and operating railroad displays. It’s good to keep your hands and mind occupied!
