I don’t know what to do with my future.?

I’m 14, and already worried about my future. I don’t know what career i wish to commit to. I love to design things, and always wanted to be an interior designer. But…i can’t drall for crap. =( There goes that dream.

You sound like you would make a good teacher. You mentioned that you like kids and fun. Other qualities such as enjoying music and being funny will help you in this line of work, even you don’t excel at them. After all when kids are little they don’t care if your off-key. But this is just an idea After all your young and your interests will change. I know because I’m the same age lol.

How to become an Interior Designer or Interior Decorator?

Hey, i’m 14 years old and am interested in becoming an Interior Designer or Interior Decorator. At school i’m taking an elective class called Visual Design but we havent learnt that much about designers besides typographers. So, i was just wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks to help me reach my goal of becomeing an Interior Designer or Interior Decorator when i finish high school. Also would i have to go to a university or is there tafe courses that i could do? all help is appreciated and thank you.

You can start by collecting decor magazines (very important). Be creative in your own bedroom by rearranging your furniture or even by changing the one you have now to one you like.

also try to visit furniture shops on your free time.and do watch shows like clean house and while you were out.

Then by the time you are ready for collage you can go to the Art institute ,or the international Academy of design and technology Both great schools for interior design.
