Classic Interior Design Of Bedroom What kind of bed is this?
http://www.homedesigners.us/357-classic-italian-bedroom-interiors-designs.html
It has that cloth with indents in it on the headboard, What would you call that?
Also hoe much would a average Victorian bed cost?
Thanks! )
Most of those are a version of a tufted headboard. My favorite version is one called a wing back headboard, which is similar to a wing back chair in that the sides curve or wrap around. Many of the ones in your link have wooden molding detail around the edges which of course would be more costly. You can buy just a tufted headboard pretty inexpensively however.
Also, they are fairly easy to make if you or someone you know is handy. I won’t go into all the details here as the instructions can be found several places on the web, but an abbreviated version involves a piece of MDF cut to the size you want (40″ w for twin, 62″w for queen, etc. and the height you want) batting which is attached by spray adhesive and then fabric to cover it (the fabric can be plain or patterned – whatever you want! Just make sure it’s upholstry weight though). The fabric is attached by a staple gun on the back. Once it’s covered mark off where you want the “tufts” to go (figure this out on paper first by dividing the width and height of your headboard and measuring so the tufts will be evenly spaced) with a fabric pen, apply staples to “tuft” down the area where the marks are and then hot glue a decorative button or a fabric covered button (of the same material used over the headboard) on top of that area. If you are doing this yourself, stick to a plain square or rectangular shape headboard, Ornate shapes are more complicated and need to be cut out with a jig saw and really need a professional upholsterer to cover them so it looks nice.
Hope this helps! And look up wing back beds – they are so cool! I am making one one in taupe velvet, but I’m pretty handy.

Creative Interior Design Names HELP name my Company?
I am opening a Home staging & Redesign business. I want a really creative and fun name but one that will appeal to all clients.
Home staging is getting a home ready to sell – set up like a model home.
Redesign is just like interior design but you use what people already have.
Interesting. I bet in the wake of all the foreclosures you must be very busy with banks and lending institutions that need your services.
If you plan to place your company on the Web, you will need to get an advantage so use the name staging or redesign in the name. The tag-line will need to have some keywords in it to describe what you do also.
How about “ready-to-sell home staging and redesign”? You want something that tells what you are in such a business. Make it easy for customers to find you. It sounds like a regional type of business so you might consider your city’s name like “Dallas Ready-to-Sell Home Staging and Redesign”.
