Is nyc school of interior design a good school?

I just got a letter in the mail to study at this school. Is it a good school? I live in va, so is this a good opportunity?

The NY School of Interior Design is one of the top 5 interior design schools in the US. It’s really quite good. Others that are well ranked include Pratt Institute, RISD, and U Cincinnatti.

You live in VA? Check if Virginia Commonwealth U offers interior design as a major. I’m not sure if they do, but overall, they’re a very strong art school, and they’re a public school – so for you, a bargain. If they offer ID, they might be worth putting on your “maybe” list.

Interior Design Help!! Red Couch Nightmare!!!?

I just moved into a new apartment and bought all new furniture. My girlfriend insisted on getting red colored couches. In my own opinion, red is a very difficult color to match anything with. I gave in and got the red couches. All I can do all day is stare at them with this disgusted look on my face because I have no idea how to decorate the rest of the living room. I do have a couple of ideas, but I’m not enthralled with them. If anyone out there has experience with interior design, or has any ideas about matching red couches with curtains, area rugs, furniture etc, please feel free to comment. The only thing I can think of is going with cherry colored furniture (No Black) and different colors of creams, and beig

Don’t panic I’ll help you out dude! Red furniture is easy to decorate with.

Use white and gray for your walls.

The furniture like tables, and decor like vases and picture frames can be either white, gray, black, silver, or light color wood like birch or pine.

For floors, any wood floor will do. For carpets, gray, brown. And or white or gray shag carpet for your area rug.

Look at this it works with the color shceme I suggested.
