I need money sponsor in South Africa to start up my business as an upholst & bag designr in Knysna. 14yrs exp.
I have a certificate in Upholstery and have been working at leading interior decorators and soft furnishing factories in Oudtshoorn and Knysna for the past 14 years. I started my own business on a part time basis 4 mnths ago. I design and manufacture ladies handbags, travel bags and purses and makes use of ostrich leather, Springbok and Impala skins, suede, and hide. I mostly use african designs on my creations. My business’ name is U & B Dreamworks. It refers to my versatile services as an Upholsterer, motortrimmer, and Bag designer. My upholstery includes new, modern and antique furniture. I cover chairs, carseats, couches and ottomans etc.
It has been my utmost desire to start my own business for years now, but unfortunately I lack the necessary machinery and of course finances to do this on my own. One bag machine costs +- R30 000. I also cannot keep up with my bag orders (they are in huge demand in Hong Kong and African countries) as the material are expensive. Please help!
