Which laptop is better for an interior design student? Dell Studio 15 or Macbook Pro 15?

I will be starting university next year and will be doing a course in interior design and need to know which laptop is best suited for me. The ideal notebook would have to cater for my intrests which include word processing, web surfing, watching movies, music, photoshop, editing/producing films, playing basic games (such as WoW) and on-the-go portability. After much searching I’ve narrowed it down to two much disputed laptops; the Dell Studio 15 and the Macbook Pro 15. Which laptop would be best suited for my tastes?

Definitely the Dell Studio 15
To begin with, since it has a windows OS you will not have to worry about compatibility issues. Honestly, how awesome would it be to turn in a term paper only for it not to be compatible with the professor’s PC. As far as performance, the studio has given me great results. I am an industrial engineering student as well as the owner of an internet business so I put a lot into this laptop. Opt for the 9 cell battery, it’ll really extend your battery life.
